Edak Aniedi Uyoh
Biography
Edak Aniedi Uyoh, Professor of Plant Genetics & Breeding, Department of Genetics & Biotechnology, University of Calabar, Nigeria, has B.Sc. Botany from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Ph.D in Plant Genetics & Breeding from University of Calabar. She is an awardee of TWAS South South Fellowship and the STEPB/World Bank Research grant. She has attended several short courses in Plant tissue culture and molecular biology in India (SPIC Science Foundation, Madras), Japan(Chiba University) and Washington State University, Pullman. With over 50 publications, her current research interests include molecular characterization and breeding of Digitaria spp and selected spice plants.
